What is Reiki?
Gentle energy work for the animals we love
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that originated in Japan. I am certified in Level II Usui Reiki, a traditional Japanese Reiki lineage, and have also received specialized certification in Animal Reiki through the Let Animals Lead® method.
Animal Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary wellness practice that creates an opportunity for relaxation, calm, and emotional comfort — a quiet space where your animal can simply be.
It can be especially meaningful for anxious, senior, sensitive, grieving, or recovering animals. Reiki is not a substitute for veterinary care, nor is it a cure. It is an offering of peace alongside the care your animal already receives.
Our approach
Let Animals Lead®
My specialized Animal Reiki training follows the Let Animals Lead® method, an approach rooted in compassion, respect, and allowing animals to guide their own experience.
Rather than directing Reiki toward an animal, I create a peaceful, supportive environment where they are free to engage with the energy in whatever way feels comfortable to them.
Animals are never forced to participate, touched without their comfort, or expected to behave a certain way. They may approach, move away, rest, or engage — entirely at their own pace.

Animal Reiki
30 minutes · $65
A gentle, animal-led session focused entirely on your pet. Your animal is given the freedom to engage in their own way and at their own pace.
Extended Animal Reiki
45 minutes · $85
Additional time for animals who may benefit from a slower introduction and a longer, unhurried experience.
Boarding Reiki Add-On
$25 / session
Available to dogs staying at Rae’s Haven. Because your dog is already in my care, Reiki can be woven naturally into their stay.
