Rae was more than a dog. She was a soul — my soul pup. The kind of presence that makes you feel seen, steady, and whole just by being in the same room. For years, she was my constant.
When Rae passed, she left behind a quiet that was hard to fill. But in her passing, she also left me something else: a calling. She led me toward dog sitting, and toward healing animals the way she had always healed me. Her love didn’t end with her — it transformed.
That’s how Rae’s Haven was born. Named for her. Guided by her.
Every dog who comes through our door is cared for in her honor — with the same patience, presence, and deep love she always deserved.
“Every dog here is cared for in Rae’s honor.”
